Brushed With Reality Group Show

Porter Contemporary presents Brushed With Reality, a group exhibition focusing on contemporary realism from February 13 through March 15 with a public opening reception on Friday, February 13 from 6-9 PM.

Brushed With Reality coincides with the ninth anniversary of Porter Contemporary and exemplifies the type of skill and imagination that the gallery is known for exhibiting. Brushed With Reality highlights the strength, innovation and diversity of trends in contemporary realism world-wide through the works of 14 artists:Jared Boechler, Jason Bryant, Sharon Florin, Kathy Greenwood, Monty Guy, Amy Hill, Jeff Huntington, Yongjae Kim, Lori Larusso, Jennifer Murray, Bruno Perillo, Russell Ritell, Anton Snt and Eric van Straaten.

All artists work in painting, drawing or sculpture in the areas of urban realism, Photorealism, Magic Realism, hyper-realism or trompe l'oeil. The exhibition presents a wide range of ideas, approaches, styles, and subject matter.
