The Women Exposition collective

In 1943, Peggy Guggenheim organized an exhibition featuring 31 women. Now she's at it again, reaffirming the contribution of women to the renewal of art.

Simply entitled The Women, the exhibition features the work of Viginia Admiral, Nell Blaine, Louis Bourgeois, Zenia Cage, Leonora Carrington, Ronnie Elliot, Pearl Fine, Annie Harvey, Leonore Krassner, Jacqueline Lamba, Gypsy Rose Lee, Muriel Levy, Loren MacIver, McKee, Peter Miller, Anne Neagoe, Alice Paalen, Irene Rice Pereira, Helen Philipps, Barbara Reis, Kay Sage, Sonia Sekula, Janet Sobel, Hedda Sterne, Julia Thecla, Pegeen Vail, Isabelle Waldberg, Charmion Wiegand, Catherine Yarrow, ALice Trumball Mason, Dolia Lorian, Patricia Phillips.
